OTDR optical reflectometers and accessories

OTDR is an indispensable device for construction and operation of fiber-optic communication networks. This equipment is a high-class measuring device, as it allows you to analyze the optical path for a distance of over two hundred kilometers (depending on the modification) and indicate all the weak points, such as: poor-quality fiber welding, poor physical contact of connectors at the socket connection and breakage of the line itself. At the same time, the OTDR can indicate the location of optical fiber damage with an accuracy of several meters. The principle of operation is based on sending a pulsed optical signal into the line and analyzing the signal that returned to the analyzer.
