SFP media converter — is a universal Ethernet media converter designed to convert signals between copper lines UTP (RJ45) and a fiber optic line via interchangeable SFP modules. The device is developed for mass deployment of Ethernet networks and allows efficient extension of the existing copper infrastructure up to a distance of 120 km using fiber optics.
Thanks to the use of standard SFP transceivers, the media converter easily adapts to different transmission speeds, fiber types, and link distances. The device can be used both as a standalone unit and installed into a 2U chassis with 14/16 slots, making it a convenient solution for operator, corporate, and industrial networks.
